Front Range Painters Warranty

Front Range Painters, LLC warrants labor and materials on said property for a period of N/A.

Front Range Painters, LLC will repair peeling, cracking, or blistering due to defective workmanship on the property. Material defects are, however, the responsibility of the material manufacturer and their warranty. Any claim here under not presented to Front Range Painters, LLC during the specified time period will alleviate Front Range Painters, LLC from any responsibility or obligation under this warranty. If after the inspection, the condition of the claim is covered under this warranty, Front Range Painters, LLC will provide sufficient labor and materials to properly re-coat any said area(s).

This area(s) will be rectified to a “properly painted surface” as defined by the Painting Contractors Association (reference industry standard P1). The customer understands that materials age and we cannot guarantee an exact color match of any rectified area(s) to its surrounding area(s) after a certain period of time. Environmental conditions also affect the color and finish of said area(s) over time, which may result in non uniformity.

The foregoing shall be the only remedy for the property covered. The supplying of all subsequent labor and material costs will not extend the warranty; however the remaining warranty period shall continue. This warranty shall not be transferable to a new homeowner. Warranty period shall mean the period commencing on the date reflected below, and both the customer and Front Range Painters, LLC have signed below.

This warranty does not cover the following:

• Color fade.
• Any work which was not performed by Front Range Painters, LLC.
• Varnished/specialty finishes (faux work etc.).
• Stained exterior wood surfaces.
• Surfaces made of, or containing, galvanized metal.
• Repairs to any horizontal surfaces or any surface that by virtue of its design allow moisture to collect. Examples of such surfaces are: decks, railings, stairs, porches, roofs, gutters, footers, and planters.
• Any repairs which are necessitated as a result of a defect in the paint regardless of whether the paint was supplied by Front Range Painters, LLC or the customer.
• Bleeding caused by knots, rust, or cedar.
• Cracks in drywall, plaster, caulking, wood, or stucco.
• Peeling, blistering or chipping are not covered if they are caused by the following: abuse; ordinary wear and tear; peeling layers of paint existing prior to the work performed by Front Range Painters, LLC; structural defects; settling or movement of the structure; moisture content of the substrate; water damage, mechanical damage; abrasive cleaning with chemicals and/or cleaning agents; exposure to harmful solids, liquids or gases; damage or defects caused in whole or in part by reason of fire, explosion, acts of God and/or vandalism, or any other similar causes which are beyond the control of Front Range Painters, LLC.

Repairs under this warranty will be performed only on the specific areas where the peeling, blistering, or chipping has occurred and only to the level of surface preparation initially performed during the original project.

FOR THIS WARRANTY TO BE VALID, YOU MUST:

• Provide evidence of paying the full contract price.

• Retain a copy of the original contract.

• Retain the original containers, and/or provide the original color codes for the areas to be repaired.

• Make the property accessible to Front Range Painters, LLC to inspect the property as well as perform the necessary repairs.

THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE BY FRONT RANGE PAINTERS, LLC AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES (EXPRESS OR IMPLIED). THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THOSE SERVICES PROVIDED BY FRONT RANGE PAINTERS, LLC TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER NAMED ON THE FRONT OF THE CONTRACT. IN NO EVENT SHALL FRONT RANGE PAINTERS, LLC BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT PRICE. THIS WARRANTY MAY NOT BE ALTERED OR EXTENDED FOR ANY PURPOSE UNLESS DONE SO IN WRITING EXECUTED BY ALL PARTIES TO THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT.
